Oransi v-hepa PRO UV Air Purifier

After rather extensive research along with exhaustive question and answer sessions with customer service representatives for eight different air purifiers I elected to but nine (9) Oransi v-hepa Pro Air Purifiers for my home 4 weeks ago.

The Oransi customer satisfaction team is open and receptive. THEY KNOW THEIR
PRODUCT !!! They also know the competition. Not one time did they berate other products. They simply gave the specifications, explanation of technical terms, and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction.

The wattage, c.f.m. specs, low decibel output, extensive filtration system, cosmetic appearance, price, and the small footprint make this unit a "No brainer."

I needed an air purifier for my office to help with allergies and pet dander. I've used the Pro UV air purifier for the past 3 months and it has really freshened up the room and allowed me to feel better. I've found that on the lower fan speed it is very quiet to where it does not interfere with my phone conversations. On the highest fan speed setting it moves a lot of air which is great for cleaning the air but a bit too loud for when I am in there working. I like the air quality indicator on the front that shows the dust levels so I know it is working. It comes with a remote control but I really don't use it since for me it's just as easy to press the buttons on the top of the purifier. I've settled on using it at the first two fan speeds and don't really change it. I like how the filters came sealed in bags so they are clean and fresh. Overall, I'm really pleased with this item.

I ordered the V-Hepa Pro a few months ago after reading a number of favorable reviews, but I have been thoroughly disappointed! The unit I received made a 'whining' noise when operated and howled like a banshee when it cycled between speed settings. The particulate meter also acted erratically, cycling between red, blue, blue and green every 5-10 seconds. I also noticed a good deal of dust on the charcoal filter (Behind the HEPA filter) which told me that air was bypassing the main filter. I called Oransi and let them know, so they told me to dispose of the unit however I saw fit, and issued me another unit. Customer service informed me that it is common for the motor mounts to break during shipping, and that fixing the unit was more costly than replacing it! They do have great customer service, with a real person answering the phone quickly and professionally.
