Pictures are deceiving, as I thought this unit would be larger - but this is my fault as it says 12" right there in the product description. In spite of being so small, it was a very effective air purifier for the few days that it functioned. It is cheaply made, and I'm guessing it has gone through manufacturing cost reductions. I say this because the instructions describe how to clean the filter, but the unit, while looking the same, opens completely differently than how the instructions describe.
The power switch does not function well, as the contacts inside clearly don't match up well - the power light comes on, but you can hear if the ion unit is working or not (it hisses), and after a couple days it would turn the light on, but would not actually function. So back to Amazon it goes. I'm going to try a GT50 this time around, even if it costs more. When these things work, they are so wonderful!
