Product Review

Hunter 30836 small room 4 N 1 air purifier lets you breathe easy. What does exclusive 4-in-1 protection mean when it comes to air purification? It means four innovative technologies working together to remove allergens, destroy germs, reduce toxic fumes and convert ozone to oxygen. But be prepared - peace of mind is a common side effect. This powerful unit's HEPA filtration cleans 99.7-percent of pollen, dust, smoke, and other allergens and pollutants from your air. Microban protection prevents fungus and mildew from growing on your filter. An oxygenating photo catalyst filter helps reduce indoor ozone. UVC germicidal technology reduces airborne viruses, germs, mold, and mildew. Replacement filter 30904 and replacement UVC bulb 30850 are easily installed. Washable pre-filter is permanent and can be cleaned and re-used. Delivers 50 cubic feet of clean air every minute and changes a small room's air up to 6 times per hour. 3-speed mechanical control for ease of use. Sleek black unit blends with any decor. 5-Year limited warranty.

We did not use the unit but for one night, so can't say for sure if it cleans air adequately. It uses a typical "99.9%", 0.3 micron filter -- plus a UV light and a so-called "oxygenating catalyst" -- so it should clean about the same as the typical design.

Do not buy this to use anywhere that quiet or just pleasant "white...Read more
