Honeywell HFD-110 QuietClean Tower Air Purifier with Permanent Filter

Comment: i got a great price for this air purifier,but the motor
started running noisy after a year. i oil it ever so often
and it will run for about 2 weeks and start the noise again.

Comment: I'm glad I selected this unit to help me with my year round allergies. The spring season is the worst and has been for several years. I get a night sleep with out interruptions like waking up with a dry cough or post nasal drip and reaching for water to sip on. the unit is quiet on med and low speed but after all it's fan circulating air so some noise is expected. I would highly recommend this unit. the care for it is very easy.

Comment: I hope everyone reads this review. If you bought a Honeywell and it works great. If you are one of the customers who bought a Honeywell and it breaks down after the first week you are probably more than a little angry, like myself. They were very polite to me and told me just to ship it back and they would ship me a new one. I got the new one and it makes a few weird noises every once and a while, but on the whole i am satisfied. But I will have to pay double for this purifier if I cannot straighten out the shipping problems. [...] was very polite but next time I'm going to Walmart; their customer service may make you wait in line but at least you don't have to go digging through your trash to find a tracking number.

Comment: The Honeywell HFD-110 QueitClean Tower Air Purifier with Permanent filter was first used last night and I slept like a baby!
Truly amazing! For the past years, I have suffered from asthma, sinus and chronic bronchitis. My sleep was not interrupted by
coughing bouts nor did I find it necessary to use my nebulizer either.

It was simple to set up, is attractive, small and compact. The air in the small bedroom was initially cleaned with the strongest
setting and during the night, the filter was left on low. The very quiet sound was found to be rather soothing.

I plan to clean the permanent air filter by rinsing with water which is another plus.

Following its eighteen hour use, the results are staggering. I enthusiastically reccommend this product.

Comment: This works very well, I'm not sure what the complaints are about. This is a high-quality item, very discreet on low, and doubles as a fan. There is minimal noise, as a fan makes, on medium and high. My upstairs neighbor smokes, which I can smell, and this clears it right up. I didn't want the expense and waste of disposable filters, so I really like having a rinsable one.
