Holmes HAPF115PDQ-U Multi Layer Replacement Filter

This filter isn't as good as the original filter it replaced. When I first bought the air purifier, it did a fantastic job of absorbing odor from the litter box. Now that the original filter is gone and I am using this replacement, there are times when the odor can overwhelm its capabilities.

I suspect it has something to do with the use of (more?) baking soda in the original filter. I have no idea if the replacement uses any.

Secondly, these filters are exceedingly difficult to find. Because none of the local retailers carry it anymore -- including the store that sold me the air purifier -- I have to buy it online.

Lastly, this filter is darned expensive!

The moral of the story: If you're buying an air purifier, make sure the filters are easily replaceable and at a reasonable price.

I have had a hard time finding these small filters but I finally found a place to purchase them. I think they are expensive but the dirt and lint that gets filtered by this small machine is amazing.
I cannot imagine a day without this product and I received them in a couple of days. The company is now in my favorites and I will use them all of the time. Thank you for allowing me this time to say thank you.

I use these filters in my cheap little air purifiers that I bought for my kids' rooms. They clean the air in the room while the white noise helps them sleep! You have to remember to replace the filter every couple of months, though, because when they get too old, the carbon dust in the filter can work its way out and make a mess.
