Holmes® AOR118-U Arm & Hammer® Odor Grabber? Air Purifier

I literally just received this handy dandy compact air purifier. Brand spanking new out of the box, the low setting is very quiet and suitable for use on a desktop without causing major headaches. The high speed, which obviously would process more air, is much like sitting with your ear next to a box fan. I purchased this unit, along with a couple of others, for a smoker in the household hoping to not only eradicate my house of the smoke smell, but also to try and capture the smoke itself. I looked at the various "smoke eating" ashtrays, but besides looking like they would be a pain to clean, they are not exactly useful whenever the cigarette is removed from the ashtray itself and actually smoked.

My issue with this Holmes Arm & Hammer Odor Grabber Air Purifier is that the front of the unit is attractive enough and looks rather innocuous, the rear of the unit, where the real work takes place, is not quite as attractive. All you see back there is the back side of the...Read more

A useful product to own, but it really needs to be bigger in order to to process more air.
