I love this product but the replacement filters are near 250$ !!! I would prefer a cheaper replacement filter and may work something out if I can get a hold of some HEPA paper to wrap around the existing foam filter or the entire unit.Breathing is easier with this product and it works pretty well.I am a smoker and my home still stinks.Maybe if it was just one room it would seriously purge the area.Central air with quality filters is the obvious second or first choice.This was the economy choice.It cost alot but as far as second or third tier choices you don't get much unless you spend the big bucks.A worthwhile product but I feel there are more powerful choices with finer, less expensive,filters.P.S.This doesn't do much about pet odors.The efficiency gap between cheap and modest priced air purifiers and the high dollar built ins is huge.Good luck to whoever needs one to truly do its job.
