Hamilton Beach TrueAir Ecoclean Air Purifier

I actually bought this at Bed Bath & Beyond after checking out every single one of their air purifiers. I chose this one because it has 3 settings, an ionizer that doesn't produce ozone, and a hepa filter that works down to 5 microns or something like that.

I have EXTREMELY bad allergies and asthma to pets, and I also have 2 dogs (I know, I'm crazy). When I don't use this purifier I can definitely tell a difference.. I can't breathe! I was sooo so happy to have finally bought this. It was a little more then I wanted to spend but TOTALLY worth it.

I'm actually writing this review right now because I just went to clean the filter and it was SO GROSS! The carbon and hepa filters were both covered in dust and dog hair. I use this in rooms that are too big for its specified size. You can still tell a great difference in air quality. With a cat shedding, this thing has worked wonders! It is very quiet on whisper to the point that I forget it's on. The normal setting sounds like a fan on low. The power clean setting is very loud though... Being that it's powerful!

This air purifier is awesome! The whisper quiet setting is virtually undetectable. I don't see how anyone could think it was loud or even audible. I love it! The other settings are ofcourse louder but not louder than most other purifiers. I keep it on whisper quiet all day/night and it leaves the air smelling clean and fresh. Also, the optional ionizer is nice. But, I rarely use it. I would def recommend this product!
