Comment: This filter is not sold in stores around CT. so I was glad to find them on Amazon. The filter works great in the air cleaner for my son's bedroom - he suffers from allergies and this unit is great! The filter works great - there is hardly any dust in his room ever!!

Summary: BEWARE - wrong size 2010-05-20
Comment: I got these filters as AN EXACT MODEL NUMBER MATCH to the filters that they are replacing & they are the wrong size!!! They are about 1/2 inch off (too narrow) on the top & the sides - too small. The parts # indicates that they are the same filter but what can you do? Well I scotch-taped them into my Hamilton Beach True Air & they seem to be working (that's why they are 3 stars) Plus they are skinnier then the replacement filter which indicates to me low quality. These are priced to be not the cheapest & not the most expensive so I thought I'd be OK! Select another company when you buy this filter & good luck.

Comment: If my nose is any indication, the filter does reduce allergen somewhat. But, clearly it is not as effectively as the original. Too bad, cause I really think that the Hamilton Beach air purifier itself, for which this filter is supposedly made, is well built.
