Buy it ONLY if you want to totally waste of your money. I would give it ZERO star.

I saw few other filter (for my air purifier) and I didn't buy them because they were NOT the real thing (clearly from the picture). This item featured the picture from the real 3m True Air filter (very good filter).

NOT !! It is some low quality cotton material (the kind used in your house heater to trap large dust bunnies - they only keep the AC / Heat ducts from clogging up). It does nothing for human breathing problem. I tried it this past month when pollen was really bad. The old dirty 3 year old 3m filter worked better (I switched it back in desperation). Yes, the dirty old (3M) made me and my wife's breathing easier. No more clogged nose, eyes watering up, etc. using 3M.

If I returned it, it would more hassle of going to the post office, and after return shipping cost - I would lose money. They know it.

Bad enought to pay shipping and a high cost per filter. Was not a 3M filtrete or any type of 3M. It actually didn't have any name. It was more like the fuzzy pleated type that go into your furnace. This company makes custom filters, so you are getting a custom size, generic filter. Too bad they show a picture of a genuine 3M filter online, or I would not have wasted my money and time on this. If you return the filter, you have to cover the return shipping, and the handling cost is non-refundable. I guess with the high cost of shipping, and the postage to return, they expect people not to bother. Save yourself the time and disapointment.

I love my Hamilton air purifier but now I'm stuck without a proper filter. Allergy-be-gone sends a knock-off product that, like other people have said, has cheap construction and wiring. The "filter" looks more like a dryer sheet and it doesn't fit into the appliance properly. I sneezed and sneezed for weeks and finally made the connection that it must be the cheap filter. If you buy this, I recommend going through Amazon's A to Z guarantee to get your money back!

Does anyone know where to buy an actual replacement filter??
