This machine is well designed. Easy to use. I would say maybe a bit louder than some of the others on the market; however if you look closely some of the others don't cover pets. Yes, pets. I noticed that a lot of them would filter cat dander. Also, I wanted something that would address specifically mold. This does the trick. I can tell the house is cleaner and have had guest comment that the house doesn't smell like musty dog anymore (though I didn't know it did).

As I said, it's well designed with many things in mind. I'm rather keen on the fact that the lights on the device has 16 different light settings. I turned off the lights since I'm very light sensitive.

There is also the option to use other filters and not be tied into buying their filers only. Great savings in filers and energy.

You don't want to use ionizer or ozone producing machine. Please read EPA official statements based on scientific studies. Ozone can cause shortness of breath or may have long term effect on your lungs.

Yes, this machine is using 16 x 20 x 2 pleated filter with a high rated MERV 16 that is good for a year. MERV 11 is being considered the best while MERV 8 is the standard for both residential and commercial, so MERV 16 is superior as ultra allergen. In addition, it included another layer of antibacterial black filter(there were 3 included in the package) against virus and molds, in case you need it on top of the ultra allergen white filter.

My furnace is currently using 3M 16 x 20 x 1 filter with 1000 MPR equivalent to MERV11. So this one is an extra purifier to consider the people coming in and out the door.

The system came with a european plug! I called the customer service line and the rep. was very polite said he would get a correct tail out to me ASAP. Some mistake on the factory/shipping end. Had it set up quick and running. ONE hour later after leaving it in a closed room the scent of the room was gone and the air just felt cleaner. My son said after a week that he no longer woke up with stuffy sinuses and thanked me for getting it!! (he is 5!) I have one in my room and now I'm considering one for the livingroom too! Do the research, I did and this is a winner!! I did add the carbon antimicrobial filter that is used on the A710 to the included filter for the A600. Worth the added cost!! You can see the evidence on the filter that it is working!
