Blueair 402 HEPASilent Air Purifier

Comment: Works very well at filtering the air. this one was actually too powerful for my bedroom even at the lowest setting. There is a noticeable difference in the air when the Blueair is on. All speeds are very quiet except for the highest setting which is disproportionately louder than all the other settings. The product itself is very sturdy and well made. For anyone with allergies this is a great product that will no doubt make a difference.

Comment: While it's difficult to directly measure the effect that this air filter is having on the environment with any degree of certainty without tools to measure air quality it certainly seems to me to be doing a good job. I wake up feeling better, and my sinuses have stopped giving me trouble. I'm able to breathe much better, and through both nostrils, consistently; it's been so long since I could do that I'd forgotten what it was like. I believe I'm even sleeping better because of it. And it is QUIET, on the low setting I dare say silent. I kept looking at the blue light to be sure it was on. The only complaint: I got the activated carbon filter and, apparently during shipping, some of the black dust got into the container an left noticeable black marks on a few places on the outside of the filter case. I haven't found any cleaner that will take them off yet, very stubborn. Oh, and the shipping was kind of slow.
