1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: This review is from: Blueair 303 HepaSilent Air-Purification System (Kitchen) Contrary to the other review, from our neighbor to the north (Los Angeles) of us, we have noticed a major difference over the several years using Blue Air (Model 500, similar to the 303 but for larger rooms with 3 filters). All we have to do is look at the filter grids and filters (3 of 'em) to see the evidence.The grids (air intakes) have to be cleaned every week or two, at least, due to a HUGE accumulation of dust. The filters have to be cleaned (blown from the reverse side or where the air "exits" - TOWARD the "intake" sides, or vacuumed FROM the "intake" sides of the filters) every three weeks to a month. That MAY help extend the filter life beyond the 6 month rated duty cycle. Regardless, those grids must be cleaned due to excessive accumulations of dust blocking the air intakes. We also notice a huge accumulation of dust when we "reverse" blow air through the filters and, again, that is in ADDITION to the large quantities of dust that we have already cleaned from the...Read more 1 of 7 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
