AllerAir provides a basic, no frills, HEPA air purifier and excellent value for the money. We are impressed with this machines ability to filter smoke and eliminate VOCs (volatile organic compounds) through large amounts of the highest grade carbon, which offers enhanced adsorption for formaldehyde, ozone, cleaners, ethylene, and heavy metals found in cigarette smoke, lower weight hydrocarbons, and similar compounds. Each air purifier includes a pre-filter, carbon filter, and HEPA air filter, which all help clean the air of particles, gases, odors, smoke, mold, and various pollutants. Cleaning range is 2 changes per hour for 1500 sq. ft. (8' ceiling); 4 air changes per hour for 750 sq. ft; 6 air changes per hour for 500 sq. ft. Portable, with four 2 in. casters. These air purifiers include features commonly ordered for use in hostile or toxic air environments such as medical facilities or government military buildings in order to reduce potent airborne contaminants. This is an excellent quality HEPA air purifier from a manufacturer that truly cares about its customers health, and does not compromise on quality where it counts. Warranty: 5 years extendable limited warranty.

This Air Purifier made a big difference. We had a paint-type chemical smell in our house from some toxic sealant used on our floors and other outgassing. It definitely reduced the smell and was easy to move around on the wheels.

The allerair 5000 is a fantastic air purifier. Within 15 minutes of turning it on the entire house is essentially beautifully filtered clean air. No paint or other types of chemicals, dust, or allergens. I have conditional mcs and the filtration allows me a very much needed normal homelife. On the low setting the product is barely audible. It becomes quit loud though on the two higher settings.
