AllerAir provides a basic, no frills, HEPA air purifier and excellent value for the money. We are impressed with this machines ability to filter smoke and eliminate VOCs (volatile organic compounds) through large amounts of the highest grade carbon, which offers enhanced adsorption for tough smoking areas with vapor from cigarettes, cigars, and pipes. Each air purifier includes a double smoke prefilter, and carbon filter with MicroHEPA air filter. Recommended for smoke removal. Cleaning range is 2 changes per hour for 1500 sq. ft. (8' ceiling); 4 air changes per hour for 750 sq. ft; 6 air changes per hour for 500 sq. ft. Portable, with four 2 in. casters. These air purifiers include features commonly ordered for use in hostile or toxic air environments such as medical facilities or government military buildings in order to reduce potent airborne contaminants.
