D-Model 45 - Professionl Room model: The most popular air purifier on the market today for people serious about the risks that air pollution presents to their health. Will effectively purify the air in a room 12 feet by 20 feet with an 8 foot ceiling (2000 cubic feet) once every 15 minutes. Aireox model 45 has 125 CFM air recirculation rate. .5 micron filter removes 99.95% of dust, pollen and particulates to .5 microns as well as most of the fumes and odors.Chemically reactive or environmentally ill people may not be able to tolerate HEPA so the Aireox is a solution to indoor air pollution and sick building syndrome as it removes fumes and most of the other allergens. I've had my Aireox 45 for 5 years and I love it. It works so well that friends with cat allergies can spend time in my apartment with no problems. The filters are not too expensive, since you only replace once a year and it is a medical grade air cleaner, not like the ionic breeze or other such phoney unit. I recommend it!

I've been using Aireox air cleaners in my home and cars for about 16 years and wouldn't buy any other kind. I have severe chemical sensitivity (from an on the job incident) and they do the job for me. They are simple, easy to clean (open, vacuum the outside of the filter, replace), and quiet. Buy a new filter to replace the one inside it when you can again smell stuff that it didn't clean out of the air (about 1 year). I run mine 24/7 on low and have for 16 years straight.

The only problem that some of my older ones have had is with the switch (max setting didn't work after a while). My newest one, just purchased from Amazon, does not have that problem. It wouldn't bother me if it did because these air cleaners are the best in any case. Cleans everything out of the air (formaldehyde, mold, gasses, smoke, etc.). During the horrible fires in California a while back, I just ran my Aireox and kept the windows closed and had clean air in the house.

I bought this two months ago to replace an old Kenmore and am very impressed with it. I use it in a 40 foot motorhome and it keeps the humidity level below 50% throughout the coach. It's also very quiet, to the point of not knowing it's on unless you're close by. It's also CFC-free and energy-saver, running around 350 watts instead of the old Kenmore's 700 watts. Since I live in a wet climate, I am considering buying their smaller one for the car. I definitely recommend this air purifier!
