NEW AIR PURIFIER HEPA IONIC UV FRESH CLEANER 3000 ft.

So my son had allergies (just like his Dad did) and had to get on medication. So we bought this air purifier. I was impressed that it cleaned over 3000 square feet for being so compact. It was very quiet. We ran it on the other side of the house from where my sons room was but the next day his allergies went away and he was able to get off his medication. About a week later I noticed my sons allergies came back. I called my husband at work and he said he decided to give it a rest for a day and had shut it off. We turned it back on and the allergies went away. My husband was a believer! Right after we turned it on I noticed the house smelled clean like fresh air or something. I think thats because it has 6 seperate stages of purification to clean out everything. Within 30 minutes of me plugging it in I noticed a difference in the air.

Mine does the same exact thing as reviewer "Willie D".....more dust accumulates INSIDE of the unit from the FRONT ---on the fan and on the components inside than it does on the filters. In fact, the filters are almost spotless! I've tried moving the unit to different places in our home with the same result. I bought it about two years ago here on Amazon. Total waste of money. Now I see it's also being sold under the name "Mammoth Air"....and there's no manufacturer info anywhere. The only info at all is for the vendor who sells it through Amazon. I just ordered a set of Hunter air purifiers off HSN...hopefully they will work properly.

This air purifier is excellent. I have been running it for almost a year now in the bedroom and it's still going strong! That is the area I personally want to be the least "irritating" because I want to relax there. However, there's the laundry and cat dander and dust that can irritate the sinuses. You'd never know this thing is running! It's also very quiet, making almost a 'white noise' or faint whooshing noise that is soothing. I have not had any issues whatsoever in the year I've owned it and would recommend it to anyone with allergies as I have.
I did shop around and what sold me on this particular product was that you could wash the filters instead of having to buy replacements. I think it may be time for that, which is what prompted me to write this review :P
